Blue Eyes!

So, after telling everyone Aaron and I would never have a blue-eyed child, it appears that AJ proved us wrong. I hope this doesn't become a pattern of his! :)

Tacy's Prayer

My 4 yr old, Tacy, gave a sweet little prayer before we ate a few days ago and in it she said "wish we could live in a haunted house. But we can't..." I really don't know where she got that from. I had her watch Monsters Inc. to hopefully get her to not think monsters in her room are scary and she's watched it several times recently, so maybe..... Anyway, I thought it was so funny I needed to share.

9 Year Anniversary!

It's official, Aaron and I have been married for 9 years as of Monday (the 7th). I must say it has been a wonderful thing and I still love Aaron very much and I don't know what I would do without him. Needless to say, we didn't have a very exciting Anniversary, or Labor Day for that matter. Chris had complained about a sore throat Saturday night, but I gave him a losenger and he said it went away. AJ has had a stuffy nose, too. Sunday, Rachel and Bryce stayed home from church because Rachel's runny-nose and cough got really deep in her chest and Bryce had a congested cough. For Labor Day/Anniversary we didn't really do much because Rachel. We went to the Air Show over by the Cache Airport for a while. They have radio-controlled airplanes and do some cool things. Garth and Gayle came down and Aaron cooked Fried Chicken which was REALLY good. I really didn't want to spend my whole Anniversary preparing dinner, but it ended up fine. Garth and Gayle stayed with our kids while we went out. We were going to go get dessert, but dinner was so good we were full. We needed milk, so we ended up going to Macey's and getting groceries! It was nice to have some time alone with Aaron and it was kind of fun. Maybe next year for our TEN YEAR.....
To make things more fun, Bryce was throwing up all day yesterday and in a lot of pain (always happens the day they go back to school!) and today he is home again because he didn't feel really good this morning. During the night Rachel threw up all over her bed, so I put a load in the washing machine and then she did it again, so I put the rest of her bedding in the wash and gave her a bath since she got some in her hair! This was from about 2:30-3:30 and wouldn't you know, Aaron, Chris, Bryce and Tacy slept right through all of it! I guess that's a good thing, not all of us should be sleep-deprived! AJ slept through it as well, and luckily waited until the dust had settled to wake up to eat. Aaron is actually getting sick as well. Today is his day off and he is trying to get things done, but I know he doesn't feel really good. We'll see who else gets sick, hopefully no one else!
